[MiQP-Mail] Here we go

Hi Gerry,

Glad to hear that word is getting out via the Motor City Radio Club. Dave
gave us a great presentation and asked for a show of hand from people
who would be participating. There were quite a few - more than I expected.

In fact there were enough people in that room who would represent Wayne
County that a few of us decided to go mobile this year. KC8OBH and his XYL,
KC8PKY, just received a Ford F-150 maxi-cab on Monday and Dave took Friday
off from work to install his TS-570. He has two giant mag-mounts and 
hamsticks
for 80 thru 10 Meters.

Dave doesn't operate CW much, so that will be my thing. KC8PKY and my
XYL, KC8NAH, will be operating Phone. Dave may operate a little, but he will
mainly be doing the driving.

We don't know what call we will be using, nor do we have a planned route
nor timetable. This is our first mobile operation and we're just going to 
see
what happens.
