Well, that was ugly!  Just when you think conditions couldn't be worse than last year they are.  Guess that means the conditions in the Ohio QSO Party will be the best ever.  At least it was a pretty day for a drive.

Thanks again to Ian, WA9PQN for driving for me.  From his drive way back to his driveway was 598 miles and 24 counties.  We missed a turn and wound up skipping Newaygo but put Osceola on for one QSO instead.

Tried to move as many multipliers as I could to the other mode but doubt it's enough to beat K8MR since we're 30 q's short. Worked most of the Michigan counties on 80m when I didn't have a phone antenna available.  Maybe I need to spend $20 and buy a second hamstick for that band and try that in the next contest although I can't imagine anyone would hear my signal on 75.

Looking forward to next year but if I see the K index at 5 I might change my mind at the last minute.
