Well, what can I say but what a day to string antennas! ( so they probably won't work for CRAP ;)

Made the trip to the ISAB QTH this morning and had the G5RV and 40mtr dipole up by 11 AM. Tested both with a couple of contacts in the GaQP barefoot on 40mtrs ( one Q on each antenna ), then dropped down to 80 mtrs and talked briefly with a couple of guys down around Tiffon, OH ( abt 45 miles SE of Toledo ). Good reports and one of the fellows had just upgraded to General. 

so, the wires are in the air. Hopefully, Mother Nature doesn't knock em down before next Saturday.
