CW questionHere's what works for me:
Operating from home, where my call prefix matches the state, I usually just CQ MQP de N8NM.
Operating in-state, but not from home, I'll append the county abbreviation to the end of the call (ex: CQ MQP de N8NM/OCEA)
Same when I operate in-state in other QPs and my prefix doesn't match the call district (ex: CQ TNQP de N8NM/CAMP)
Operating out of state in another QP, I'll append my state abbreviation to my call (N8NM/MI). This helps, but people still call without listening or understanding what's going on. For what it's worth, I find it quicker and easier to just work these zero-pointers then it is to try to explain things to them.

Subject: [MiQP-Mail] CW question
I have a question about operating cw during the miqp. The rules for the GA QSO party suggest that Georgia stations should call "CQ GQP". Non Georgia stations should call "CQ GA." This helped me a lot. I have had problems with other qso parties where I tried to call CQ but stations not from that state would call me back.
Do we do a similiar thing with the MIQP?
