[MiQP-Mail] OQP moved to April, concurrent with MiQP.

Hank,

Even on April 1 you would not have fooled many people regarding the OnQP
dates. OnQP moved to the MiQP weekend several years ago, and many
people here on the reflector are aware of it.

What I find surprising is that I've never noticed any conflict between
the two events over the years. Whenever I work a VE3 in MiQP, I usually
add an RST to my sent exchange (so that I'm compatible with their rules)
and the VE3s seem to always send a QSO number (to be compatible with
ours). But I've never run into a large block of VE3s CQing for their
contest. It's almost like the OnQP activity takes place in different
parts of the band from MiQP. Perhaps there is a lot of VHF activity and
QSOs within VE3?

73,

Dave/K8CC
