[MiQP-Mail] EI5DI logging software

I see that N3FJP software claims to work on Windows 7. If you're
interested, register with the N3FJP software reflector on Yahoo
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/N3FJP_Software_Users and ask a few
questions before you actually plunk down $$'s.
N3FJP is very intuitive, but few bellzandwhistles. A trial version,
useful for up to 30 Q's, is free. For a complete version single
contests are ~$6, and a whole array of contests may be had for something
like $29 USD.

N1MM is free - quite a steep learning curve if you're used to "typical"
software, but is very, very powerful, all sorts of bellzandwhistles. My
problem for a novice user is that the "help" files and the "operating
manual" seem to be written by the experts for the experts. I learned
what I know from a couple very helpful Elmers, one locally, and another
on the MRRC reflector. Many other times, before the "Elmers" stepped
forward, would say "read the help manual" and consider me an idiot (to
which I totally agree) when I can't find the answer in the documentation.

W3KM General Logger claims to work. It is free. It has several
deficiencies when compared to the "high powered" logging software like N1MM.

To me, it's a matter of getting used to something, familiarity is worth
quite a few $$'s, and limits frustration during the heat of a contest.
