Dang, was planning on making a run to get the title back this year but my MD Andersen appointments are going to take precedence.

Good luck and have fun.

 The planned operations entry and
planned operations viewing pages for the 2016 event on Apr
16/17 are now ready for use.   Please enter
your plans and let us all know what county or counties you
plan to activate.  The web pages are the same as they
have been for several years.  The link for entering
your plans is on the left side of the page in the
 “Contents” section, “2016 Planned Operations
Entry".  The viewing link is near the top of the page
under the MI map (Planned Operations Details).

When it comes time to submit your log, it is done using the
link on the left side of the page in the “Contents”
section, “2016 Submit Electronic Log”.  As in the
past you’ll be able to see logs submitted sorted by
callsign (Contents section, “2016 Logs Received") and by
category and then by raw score (Contents section, “2016
Logs Received with Scores”).  The by callsign is
easier to make sure your log (or a particular log) has been
received.  The by score page offers a raw (unchecked)
glimpse of how things look going into log checking.

New this year, when your log is emailed back to you it
includes the information used to determine the raw score (#
CW QSOs, # PH QSOs, # CW Mults, # PH Mults, Score, CW Mult
List, PH Mult List ).  In the past this information was
displayed on the screen but not saved.  Now you can use
this information to figure out why your logging software is
claiming one score and your raw score is different.
Keep in mind, the raw score does not remove dupes (therefore
raw score may be higher) and only recognizes the official
QTH abbreviations (therefore raw score may be lower).
The raw score is a sanity check.  The log checking
process and MiQP committee determine your official score at
 a later time.

Good luck to all in this years MiQP.

 73, Tim K9TM
