Comments:

Was going to do a full time low power effort and then an old friend came into town and I knew I was only going to put a few hours in so I switched to the QRP category to at least check that one off for the Berrien County scoreboard.

Conditions were abysmal to say the least at the start of the contest.  Propagation sucked and at QRP I was struggling with every QSO.  Was actually happy when it was time to break away and meet with friends.

Arrived home in time to catch the last two hours of the contest.  No 40M by that time but 80M seemed OK and could sustain some rate there as fresh meat.  SSB would not play for me.  Not sure if it is because I was QRP or just don't like phone but I couldn't get guys to stop CQing in my face.   And when I called CQ it was just as futile so I went back to CW and said good bye to SSB mults and hello to 2 point QSOs.

My goal was to beat the old Berrien county QRP record which I doubled, so mission accomplished.

Maybe by next year I will have some stuff up for a serious effort.
