your mult <BR>rate will drop to almost zero per hour. Propagation changes will allow you <BR>to work a few new ones over time, but filling in the blanks on the other <BR>mode is a key activity, especially in the second half of the contest. In the <BR>past two years the ratio between in-state and out-of-state multipliers has <BR>been roughly 1:1 for me. So, when you work FL, NY, GA CO and CA 'on the <BR>other mode', this is as valuable as working KALK, ALPE, OSCE, LEEL and MTMO <BR>for a new one. Right here are five out-of-state multipliers that may be very <BR>easy, so asking "QSY SSB?" is probably worth it. <BR><BR>SO2R was extremely helpful this year. Having the CQ loop going on one band <BR>and doing S&P on another, imrpoved the score significantly, as I was able to <BR>S&P for several minutes in a row if the responses to CQs were slow. Some <BR>simple math: If you work 300 QSOs in 12 hours, solely as a result of calling <BR>CQ, then this is equivalent to 25/h, or one Q
