<DIV>Once again my thanks to Ian, WA9PQN for driving me around his home
state. This year 24 counties and 618 miles from his door to door.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Picked up a Hustler antenna with the three resonator attachment that we
guyed to the roof of the mini-van this year with a Hamstick in the front
mount. Had 75/40/15 on the Hustler and 20 during the day and 80m in the
evening on the other. Really should have checked 75m earlier than I did as
there was lots of activity there early. Some day I'll get it right.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Murphy visited in the middle of the contest when the TS-850 and the
computer wouldn't communicate with each other. Nuts, I've become so
dependent on computer control that it really made things difficult (and not
nearly as much fun). I first noticed it when I moved a guy to SSB for the
mult and the computer flagged it as a dupe. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Conditions were improved this year over last but no where close to 2003
when we had close to 800 qso's.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Thanks to all who got on and worked us. Look for W8UE and myself in
the Indiana QSO party coming up in two weeks.</DIV>
