I heard and worked many more in state stations than the last two years. I made a point to try
to get phone QSO's (not my favorite mode). I actually had a 40 meter phone run between 5:30 and 6:30 local time--fun for a CW guy.<br><br>I had a hard time getting things going on CW in the evening. I kept plugging but it was not what I expected. So it was a good afternoon and a not so good evening.<br><br>I worked DL2HBX (Uli) a couple of times and actually talked to him for a minute on 20 Meter Phone. He mentioned working here in MI.<br><br>So it was different, fun, and a personal best. What's not to like.
