[MiQP-Mail] Cabrillo file

Hello gentlemen, I have a question about Cabrillo files that I would like to
ask you for clarification. I have sent you a sample of the Cabrillo file
that I have started for sending to you for the MIQP. The question that I
have is that the logging program I am currently using for Cabrillo file
exporting, DXKeeper from DXLabs, is outputting the county exchange as 6
digits only, even though in the field I enter the appropriate serial # and
county. So for example in the logging field I enter 119MACO, it outputs in
the Cabrillo file as 119MAC, and I can see there being confusion for you as
Macomb or Mackinaw Co. The only other potential problem I see with 3 digit
county identifier in the exchange would be BAR- Baraga/ Barry Co. In the
DXLab reflector I have e-mailed the software programmer and he replied if I
was able to provide an appropriate Cabrillo template he would be glad to
change in the next revision. He provided me with a url of:
http://www.kkn.net/~trey/cabrillo/qso-template.html. To provide you with the
4 digit county abbr. I would have to manually enter the additional county
abbr. Can you provide me with any insight? If possible, I would like to know
if you could provide me a template to forward to the programmer so as to
make this software compatible with the MIQP. According to the info he has
provided me there is a 6 character export limit for Cabrillo files. If I
were to provide a 3 digit serial # that would leave only 3 letters available
for the county mult. If I give a 2 digit serial # I could put all 4 digits
for the county abbr. but I could not log any contacts greater than 99. Could
I provide him with the MIQP mult checklist pdf for use as a template? Please
let me know the correct format that you would like to receive. I understand
that the log checking crew is probably busy doing their thing so no big rush
on a reply back. I was trying to make it easier for you by sending the log
in electronically, so I apologize about this inconvenience.
