Sorry about your disk problemme. What programme did you use? I
generally use N3FJP because a club to which I belong started using it
way back when for Field Day, and I figured I'd be compatible. I like it
because all you need to do is tell it some details on a screen which
comes up first, answer a question as to whether you're continuing a
contest or starting new, and it fires up. But, Scott isn't supporting
any changes in rules for state QSO Parties, so I'd not recommend it.
N1MM seems to be popular amongst the stingy ham population around here -
since it's free. It requires a bit of figuring out - some say it has a
steep learning curve.
I'd say your problem might not be in the software - but something in
windows or a hardware glitch in your computer. Turn the thing off and
restart it, but pray before you do. :)
