Your suggestion really doesn't help.  Easter is not always the same weekend 
every year.  If it was, we would indeed move MiQP.  However, there are 
years when Easter is on the first weekend in April.  There are even years 
that its the last weekend in March (i.e., CQ WPX SSB weekend).  And that's 
my point - *ANY* weekend in April might be Easter on any given year, except 
(I think) the last weekend and that's Florida QSO Party, one of the biggest 
QPs of the year.

So there are indeed NOT a lot of alterative dates to choose from.
