First I want to thank Mad River Radio Club for putting on a great contest they are always right on top of things. I think that the 175th anniversary is worthy of doing a special certificate award for any station that logs 175 contacts during the 12 hour contest period.

They say that plagiarism is the highest form of flattery, so why not take a hint from Kansas and try for the spelling of MICHIGAN and WOLVERINE ?

Should we have something special for the 175th anniversary of Michigan 
being a state?  Michigan became a state in 1837. 

Just a thought.  NOW is the time to consider something like that.
