As a renegade member of the sponsoring organization, I resemble that 
statement.  Ossifers, and former ossifers of such an organization should 
be much more respectful to participants in the events which the 
organization sponsors.

It might have been better to note that one prominent member of the 
organizing team for MIQP has an ongoing family situation which takes 
much of his free time, so some slack might be in order.  We also might 
note that MiQP results are generally out much, much sooner than with the 
Ohio QSO Party, which Mad River Radio Club also sponsors, so we should 
be delighted when results appear.

However, I generally receive much flak and flames when I write comments 
such as these, so I'm donning my flame resistant suit made from asbestos 
suit (yes, I know some governmental agency says asbestos is a 
carcinogen, but I used asbestos at home, in grammar school, high school, 
college, and professionally as a comical engineer, so I understand the 
risks, and they are vanishingly small compared to the flame resistance 
provided), and will hunker down in the atomic bomb shelter which was 
installed next to this place during the Cuban Missile crises.  SO! Let 
the flames begin!
